French Angelfish (Pomacanthus paru)




What: French Angelfish (Pomacanthus paru), a species common to the Caribbean.

Where: I photographed this pretty fishy on a reef near the top of Bloody Bay Wall, Little Cayman island.

  3. The color is striking and subtle. The yellow reminds of the reflected sunlight the ripples above.

  4. I think it's really how the juvenile of this species looks so different than the adult.
